Wordze + AffPortal Single Sign On
Posted by: | CommentsToday a deal was reached between Wordze, the KING of keywords and AffPortal (uh, me) to activate the single sign on for our respective membership bases.
This is something that I had wanted since early fall and when Bradley, the new owner of Wordze contacted me two weeks ago, the wheels started turning. So as of today, all current AffPortal.com members have full access to not only LandingPageClassroom but Wordze as well.
We are very happy to have a partnership with both of these awesome websites and the AffPortal community thanks you. I hope your members get a lot our of our tools as well.
New Video – Offer / URL Rotator for PHP
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a new video about the URL Rotator, that shows in great detail exactly how to use AffPortal’s offer rotator when to rotate the affiliate links that you send your traffic to. This is very useful, and I use it every day, to rotate through the offers I send PPV or PPC traffic to. The point of this is to quickly find out which offers are converting for what traffic and which keywords.
This rotator supports subId tracking and will easily pass your subIds from your destination url, to you landing page, to the rotator and then to the affiliate offer so you can pull your commission reports and see what’s converting for which keywords or URLS in the case of PPV.
You can download the rotator.php file inside the downloads area along with the offer.php script that you can use to cloak your affiliate links.
Both of these files can be used for direct linking as well as when using a landing page or mini site.
Fire off any questions you have about the rotator and I’ll be happy to help you out… as long as you watch the URL Rotator video first b/c that explains EXACTLY how those scripts work.
170 New Niche Keyword Lists Added
Posted by: | CommentsI just added a ton of freshly compiled niche keyword lists in the downloads section for members. You can use these keyword lists to explore niches you would not have though of or use them to seed your keyword list and use the Keyword Mashup Tool in AffPortal to EXPAND on these high traffic terms to get down to the potentially inexpensive longtail terms. There is over 170 lists that have been compiled with about 1000 keywords per list. They have been pre-scrubbed of all the nonsensical keywords that sometimes sneak into our keyword lists so you can take this seed list and scale it WAY out.
I will be adding to this download library as new lists are compiled.
Adwords Sniper is in a Public Alpha version
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s been a busy couple of weeks. Aside from building my own campaign portfolio, I have been busy building a new theme for AffPortal, and my super artistic assistant Christina is building a wordpress theme to go along with it. This is thanks to the helpful advice politely dropped by my buddy Mike (Sal…) and Kris from CashTactics.net. Thanks guys.
Obviously, the WP theme is not ready yet but i’m hoping for this week.
The biggest developments are:
1. I have added the Adwords Sniper. This tool picks off the first page results from Google for any keyword and sours the page for adsense ads so you can SITE TARGET your Adwords content network placement campaigns using the returned urls. I didn’t stop there though, you can choose pages 1,2,3,4,5 OR 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40 and 41-50. The latter scours up to 200 pages worth of HTML for the Adsense footprint and records the url to return to you. This saves you TONS of time when looking for sites to target with your placement targeted campaigns. I can’t wait to use it myself.
2. I have added the same page choices as above to the URL scraper. This is a 400% increase from the original tool, returning you up to 1000 urls in minutes.
Go get some…

Using Google Adwords tool and AffPortal Expansion Lists
Posted by: | CommentsThis weekend I was thinking about the Google Adwords tool, yea, I think about Affiliate Marketing just about all the time. What I realized is that leveraging the power of the Google adwords tool IN CONJUNCTION with the keyword database could result in a pretty powerful list.
The suggested way to gather your initial list is really to visit the offer page and see what words are obvious then start your list. Next you plug these words into your keyword tool to expand and build the ppc list. I would still do this step but only take the most obvious 5 or 6 keyword phrases.
Once you have your first set of seed words, go to the adwords tool and feed them in one by one. copy the top 10 or 20 terms, depending on traffic. These will be your expanded seed list. You want HIGH traffic terms of no less than 5000 searches/month.
Now that you have a slightly larger seed list, copy these, one by one, into your keyword tool and expand on them. Now you want to copy the whole list that your keyword tool returns. Do this for each of your high traffic keyword phrases.
Run the whole list through excel to filter out the duplicates. Split into TIGHT ad groupsĀ and build your campaign.
I’m testing this currently with a new campaign. My usual steps used to just include 1 and 2, before I wrote my affportal tool. Then my steps omitted google and was just steps 1 and 3. I think that leveraging the power of the google data that is returned by the adwords tool and expanding on that list creates a much more comprehensive list than either of my first two techniques.
