10 Minute Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsA friend of mine was telling me this idea last month to keep yourself productive. I think it came from 7 Highly Effective Habits and it’s the idea of classifying your most important tasks as “Big Rocks”. The idea is that if you have sand, water and rocks and try to fit them in a glass there’s a right way and wrong way.
If you fill the glass in this order, water, sand then big rocks they won’t all fit in there. BUT, if you put in your big rocks first, then sand and finally water, you can fit it all in.
This is where 10 minute marketing fits in. If you concentrate on your Big Rocks and fitting them into your week, then pack your smaller tasks around and finally fill it in with water you will accomplish much more. The bonus is the idea of 10 minute marketing being the sand and the water. Using 10 minute marketing, after you concentrate on your big rocks you have your left over time that you can check off an item in your 10 free minutes and it will get you much closer to your final goal of being profitable online.

I have been using this to fill in my extra time and diversify my traffic for AffPortal and getting my other seo projects indexed quickly. Eventually it will lead to steady organic traffic. Paid traffic campaigns are my big rocks, 10 minute marketing is the sand and water surrounding my paid traffic campaigns.

- 30 minute video on how to develop a high converting landing page
The third video on developing a landing page is my favorite video to date. In it you will see how to create a landing page specifically taylored to one product in the CJ.com catalog of merchants. I use a free software called xHeader, available at xHeader.com, to build the very handsome graphical header and I show how easy landing pages go together using 90 Second Website Builder.
Recently 90 Second Website Builder has been my weapon of choice for many reasons. The best reason is how insanely easy it is to use and in the video you will see exactly what I mean.

Cliff notes on CashTactics video CS 1.1
Posted by: | CommentsAfter watching the CashTactics.net video CS 1.1 on network signups and competition research I wanted to record the main take away points.
Competition Research
- Used for seeing if an offer is worth promoting.
- Google.com the seed keyword terms – look for affiliates promoting the offer on the search network. If yes, good sign that it’s a profitable offer to run. Next, look for it on the content network.
- AssociatedContent.com or EzineArticles.com – search seed kw terms. Look through their adsense ads for the offer being promoted by affiliates. If yes, good sign it’s profitable. Also look through articles for bum marketers promoting the offer.
- Trends.Google.com – search offer seed kw terms. Seperate terms by comma so they show on same graph. Compare to “male yeast infection” which get’s appx 500 searches per day. Look for upward trend and volume above that of “male yeast infection”.
- Google adwords kw tool – check out advertiser competition column. Look for high competition terms. This indicates a large market. With large marketes comes big potential AND gaps in the marketing that you may be able to exploit for your own campaigns.
