Wordze + AffPortal Single Sign On

Posted by: Corey | Comments (0)

Today a deal was reached between Wordze, the KING of keywords and AffPortal (uh, me) to activate the single sign on for our respective membership bases.

This is something that I had wanted since early fall and when Bradley, the new owner of Wordze contacted me two weeks ago, the wheels started turning. So as of today, all current AffPortal.com members have full access to not only LandingPageClassroom but Wordze as well.

We are very happy to have a partnership with both of these awesome websites and the AffPortal community thanks you. I hope your members get a lot our of our tools as well.

Two New User Requested PPV Tools Added

Posted by: Corey | Comments (0)

One member out at PPV Formula (also an AP member) and one AffPortal member requested two tools that coded up last night and added as a Beta to the PPV tools area.

  1. Site Extractor – This is a URL Scraper tool that pulls all urls for a given domain from the google index when supplied with a batch of unique domain urls
  2. URL Shrink – kind of does the opposite of the Site Extractor PPV tools,  in that when you give it a list of URLs, it pulls the DISTINCT domains from the scraped URL list. This tool also allows you to truncate very long urls to a max of 40 characters as required by Media Traffic.

So go beat on these new PPV tools a little and let me know what you think. If you are able to break them let me know how to recreate your actions.

Any additional info you supply to me about these PPV tools the better they will become.

Go get some!

New PPC Keyword Generator

Posted by: Corey | Comments (0)

Today I added a keyword generator that returns 2 very targeted keyword lists.

The first is the DEEP list, highly relevant to your seed keyword. Second is the WIDE keyword list which contains relevant keywords to your seed word but branches out slightly to other sub niches you may not have thought of on your own. These WIDE keywords would be good to develop new ad groups with or to use with PPV as is or to run them through the AffPortal keyword scraper to generate a URL list.

Another interesting note is that it works with other languages so if you are targeting the spanish speaking population in the US, select those parameters and enter your spanish seed keyword (ex: dinero).

To scale out your keyword list using the WIDE keyword lists:

  1. Take these WIDE keywords, add them to a separate temporary list
  2. Run them one by one through the keyword tool
  3. Then check off the DEEP keywords the tool generates and add them to your main campaign keyword list.

Remember to save the wide keyword that you used for the ad group titles.

This tool is a great improvement over the keyword database I had prior to this tool. I did not delete that original keyword database as it’s still very good for scaling out your list and generating long tail terms that you otherwise would not have found.

Drop me a note in the forum if you have any questions.

I have many more tools in development that will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

Cheers,

Corey Bornmann

PPV Campaign Awesomeness

Posted by: Corey | Comments (4)

Putting together PPV campaigns is quick when I use my tools at AffPortal.com to automate as much as possible. Today I cut my campaign build out time in half.

I just finished a new tool to use on my test account on Market Leverage and from all reviews so far, it’s awesome.

The new tool is called *BETA* Smart URL Scraper and here’s what it does.

  1. You find an offer you want to promote. Grab an affiliate link and get the base url for the offer. EX: www.match.com, www.geneva.com
  2. Copy / Paste that offer into the destination url text box (#1)  and click submit (#2)
  3. The Smart URL Scraper reads the offer’s site and defines 5 broad keywords based on a variety of factors.
  4. Smart URL Scraper then automatically scrapes the major search engines however many pages deep that you want to go.
  5. Then you copy and paste into your campaign or narrow the broad keywords more and resubmit.

You have to try it to believe how easy this tool makes PPV campaign build out.

Real quick, Affportal is soon going up to $47/month now that the site is growing in base membership. All members that get in at $27 will never be increased while they remain an active member. That’s no bs increase. My expenses are growing so the cost must grow with it. So, no long sales letter here.. just go try a free 3 day trial and you’ll see the value that now hundreds of others rely on to quickly build out PPV campaigns.

You Tube video to come…

Improved URL Scraper Results

Posted by: Corey | Comments (0)

Tonight I was building a PPV campaign for an email submit and suddenly got a bunch of doubles and bad urls in my batch URL scraper so I broke out Visual Studio and got to work on an upgrade. Now the filter will catch bad urls that have “…” in them AND sorts by url alphabetically then removes doubles.

Now, I had to compromise and make every url lowercase b/c it was treating Match.com as being different than match.com. That’s ok for now since my favorite PPV network, Traffic Vance, is not case sensitive. If that changes so will the scraper.

So now the scraped URLs take less work to make a nice profitable keyword list.

Enjoy…
