Why I deleted my internet marketing blog

Yesterday I logged into my Beyond Hosting account and in a moment of complete clarity, deleted my blog and it’s database….

I can hear the shrieks from the SEO guys saying, “don’t do it, Google hates that”… um, don’t care…

I write because I like to write.

I write because I like to talk about stuff I’m working on.

I write to get some good useful stuff out there to people that like to sell stuff online.

I don’t write for Google.

I don’t write with correct grammar, not because I don’t respect the queens English, but because I kinda suck at grammar, and spelling for that matter. Just ask my dad (the printer) how doing spelling every week went as a juvie…

I do write because I know a thing or two about a thing or two… I like internet marketing and I’m pretty good at it. I like programming and making stuff for people and I like making a few bucks along the way.

Being an entrepreneur since the second grade will have that effect on you.

So if you’re looking for the old articles since I started this blog in 2009, they are gone.

I will be re-purposing some of the old content because some of it is truly golden and timeless but a lot of it was kinda dumb to say it nicely.

Plus I wanted to revamp from the ground up. It’s now totally mobile friendly for the next few years and the theme just kinda kicks butt.

And that’s my piece…

Look forward to some seriously good digital marketing and entrepreneurial talk moving forward!

  • Wouah, deleting an old blog is steal a huge decision.
I did it quite a few times with some of my old sites.
But I always saved the content I published …

Yea, I tossed it around for quite a while and concluded that it was time for a “hard reboot”. The good stuff I still have and I’ll re-purpose it from my notes after I rework the content a little.
